Our Blu Fusion Automatic Bromine Generator offers many benefits over other spa sanitation regimens and other salt-system sanitation systems offered by other manufacturers.
Convenience -
Less Maintenance
Drain & Refill Your Spa Annually
- Because you are not continuously adding chemicals to your hot tub using our Blu Fusion, you can drain and refill your spa annually.
- Most other spa sanitation regimens will require you to drain and refill your spa 3 – 4 times a year. The reason is that chemicals are building up in your spa water as you continuously add these every week.
It’s Salt. That’s it!
- Unlike other methods of spa sanitation, the only significant chemical you add to your spa water is our Tru Blu 99% sodium bromide salt. And you do this only once a year – after each refill.
Beneficial for Your Skin
If you suffer from eczema, psoriasis, or other skin disorders, your doctor may recommend salt treatments. A hot tub using salt for sanitation might be just the thing!
- By the way, in some States, our Blu Fusion might qualify your spa purchase for a sales tax exemption.
Bromine, Not Chlorine
Blu Fusion uses bromine as its sanitizer, not chlorine. Unlike chlorine, bromine:
- Is only minimally impacted by pH. pH must be in the range of 7.2 – 7.6 in a chlorine spa in order for it effectively kill bacteria and other pathogens. Bromine will kill bacteria and other pathogens even when the pH is outside of the 7.2 – 7.6 range.
- Is largely not affected by the high temperatures in a hot tub.
- Chlorine is a gas hence it tends to “off-gas” in a spa.
- Bromine is a liquid as spa temperatures, hence does not off-gas.
- Does not produce chloramines.
- Chloramines are the noxious odor people often associate with chlorine.
- Chloramines will not kill bacteria.
- Chloramines are not kind to your skin.
- Is not negatively affected by the cyanuric acid (CYA) used in dichlor (the most commonly used sanitizer in hot tubs) because Blu Fusion uses no CYA.
Blu Fusion
is SOFT
- When compared with a standard hot tub, the water in a hot tub using our Blu Fusion will feel softer.
- Additionally, when you leave your Blu Fusion spa and dry off, your skin will also feel softer.
Running Cost
Though our Blu Fusion system likely has the highest initial cost, your long-term costs (over the lifetime of your hot tub) are likely the lowest.
- As you are essentially only purchasing Tru Blu bromine salt once a year (with every drain and fill) your annual cost to operate your Blu Fusion system are likely the lowest of all your available sanitation options.
3-Year Warranty
Among all hot tub salt-system options, ONLY BluWater Technology offers a 3-Year warranty.
- This include all components, including electronics, display, and the electrode cell.
One reason we offer our 3-Year warranty is ONLY our Blu Fusion offers a sacrificial anode, protecting the metal components of your hot tub.
Energy & Water Savings
The electrical current used with Blu Fusion is comparable to a 9-volt battery.
- It is therefore extremely safe.
The Power Consumption is 20W – a tiny fraction of the electricity used by your actual hot tub.
Draining your Spas Water Annually versus 3 – 4x a Year.
- The typical hot tub is around 400 – 500 gallons. You are saving 1,200 – 2,000 gallons of water every year with Blu Fusion and considerably more in a swim spa.
Reverse Polarity
Every few minutes the polarity of the electrodes in the Blu Fusion electrode cell reverse polarity. In other words, the anode becomes the cathode and vice versa.
Made in the USA
Our Blu Fusion Automated Bromine System is manufactured in Lakewood, CO, a suburb of Denver.
Note: Our Tru Blu sodium bromide salt is sourced from the Dead Sea in Israel. The only other commercial source of sodium bromide is China. We don’t source from China.
